What do you do at Door4?
I’m a Marketing Executive within the Acquisition department, primarily focusing on SEO

How do you see your role at Door4 developing in the future?
Quickly! I’ve learnt so much in the short time I’ve been here, I can only imagine how my expertise will develop in the future. I’m so excited to see how far I can take it

What’s the best thing about working at Door4?
The people! It’s such a welcoming environment, I really couldn’t have asked for a nicer bunch. Both Tom and Alex have been really patient whilst I learn the ins and outs of my new role, it’s so lovely to have that kind of support from experts within the field.

Paramedic! I was meant to be going to university to be a paramedic before the world of marketing enticed me in, quite the career change, but definitely the right decision for me. 

What would the title of your autobiography be?
“Megan Jones’ diary” –

My life is a little like Bridget Jones’s! I have a talent for embarrassing myself or ending up in some form of disaster, but everything always seems to work out in the end! Life would be boring if everything went the way you wanted it to wouldn’t it?! 

If you were given tomorrow off work, what would you do for the day?
Spend the day at Llanbedrog beach with my dog – It’s my (and his) favourite place to be. (We’re also a big fan of the ice cream there) 

Name one thing you’re not very good at outside of the office and one thing you ARE very good at.
I’m absolutely horrendous at parking! I’m convinced my car wasn’t designed to go backwards. I’m really good at baking though  – Door4 are yet to try my famous victoria sponge. Yum!

(Between participating in her mug shot interview and publishing this post, Meg did actually bake a victoria sponge cake for the office… and it was demolished well before lunch time, 10/10 cake!)

At Door4, whose job would you be most scared of doing – why?
Definitely Sean, Our Managing Director! He wears many hats, and is a mentor/crisis manager/shoulder to cry on to many people in the office. He’s kind of like a parent to the company, no day is ever the same. So much responsibility!

A man is washing his car with his son when the boy goes, “Dad, can’t we use a sponge?”
