The roundup is back for its quarterly update. What has the Door4 team been up to in recent months? Read below to see the projects and milestones we’ve been busy working on, achieving growth and top-notch performance for our clients.
(As always, we redact our client names but please feel free to reach out to us if you’re looking for more information)
Summer radio campaign sees conversions more than double.
We’ve had a busy few months with one of our international home & garden clients’, and have been having great success during the ramp-up to their peak season.
We’ve seen their latest radio campaign for a new range conclude recently, following substantial airtime during spring and then the Euros, this combined with our paid ads campaign has significantly spiked traffic and conversions across all territories. We saw traffic to the UK campaign page spike significantly in May and June – but this has been doing well across all of the brand territories. We saw over 1/3 of sessions coming from new site visitors and a huge spike in conversions. The data shows us that conversions more than doubled from April (before the campaigns were live) vs May and June – have you considered radio for your next campaign?
To follow on from this we also recently launched a new project that the team had been working on for a while, an exciting seasonal campaign which will run for the next 12 months!
We have improved user experience in the blog area of the website by segmenting blogs seasonally – so users can look at the relevant season content to find what they need quickly and easily. This is more interactive and has allowed us to develop and improve in terms of SEO – we can target even more specific key terms over the year as we produce fresh content for this campaign.
Finally, as we work on many projects simultaneously for this client, we recently hosted a working design session for another new project. The client’s overwhelmingly positive response to our improvements in the website is a testament to our team’s impactful contributions – they know this brand inside and out. Stay tuned for updates in the next roundup!
“Standing still is still growth”
Our team at Door4 recognises that each client is unique, and we make it a priority to fully grasp the complexities of the industries we work with. In the case of a particular B2C client, they reported a 1% growth in revenue year over year for May and June, which they are very pleased with. Some might consider 1% to be a small gain, but it’s important to note that this client’s industry as a whole has experienced a significant 35% year-over-year loss. Considering the challenging market conditions this year, where the economy has struggled, our initial expectations were for a loss. The clients themselves acknowledged that “standing still is growth right now.” While the situation may not be described as “thriving,” managing to maintain stability despite anticipating a setback is an accomplishment worth recognising. Our Paid Media team especially, consistently achieve great results for this longstanding client.
Completed re-platform sees rankings rise.
You may have already seen this brilliant case study write-up of a recently completed re-platform project. But we wanted to highlight it again here as the results have been brilliant. The replatform saw improvements across the board from an organic view and for conversion rate too. CR already has seen a year on year improvement.
Website migrations often risk SEO, potentially causing a loss in search rankings, organic traffic, and online revenue. Proper planning and execution are crucial to avoid disruptions in SEO performance, and we’ve been thrilled to see no drops at all, only gains for the SEO rankings. Kudos to the team for careful planning and their hard work on this project!
Our newest client praises speed and efficiency.
We get stuck right into a new challenge and this client was no exception. The client requested a new landing page design and we turned it around within the week, to great feedback from their team.
“I don’t know how you’ve done this so quickly but this is a massive improvement!!!”
We’ve now gone live with new Paid Media campaigns, so stay tuned for more great results from the team!
Paid social success sees us exceeding expectations for lead enquiries.
For Paid Media, June ended on a real high for our national family sector client. Our Paid Social activities have been absolutely flying and we’ve been far exceeding expectations for lead enquiries for this client. These have been good quality leads and we’re seeing the client able to progress these leads down their funnel too. For Paid and Direct (SEO) performance combined, we were almost 36% above target for enquiries in June, despite pulling back on spend. When we only account for paid performance, we were +46% above targets for enquiries in June. Our acquisition team continue to showcase their skills with results like these month on month.
Additionally, we’re just kicking off with an exciting new project with this client, starting with a new site. Feedback from the creative session was brilliant and we can’t wait to develop this project more. “this is very on brand and you listened to all of our requests”. They described the designs as “so clear, fresh, and really user-friendly”. Our brilliant UX lead Darren can take all the credit here, our not-so-secret weapon.
Success as we hit +55% vs target year to date on conversions.
Moving on to a paid-media client that operates internationally across 10+ territories, our paid media team have been smashing it, with conversions up 55% above target. Our acquisition team expertly manage fluctuations, trends and optimisations to keep the myriad of accounts and platforms in tip-top shape.
There’s no such thing as too many featured snippets.
Finally (yes, really), our leading automotive client has also seen great SEO results recently, we’ve seen a whopping 35 new featured snippets land on key search terms, a testament again to the SEO and content teams’ hard work, brilliant planning and research.
And that’s a wrap! The last three months have been busy for our team with lots going on that we’ll share in future updates. A huge congratulations to everyone involved!
