The AI Lab: Marketing Multiplier
Every marketing leader has a backlog that outpaces their team. Too much to do, not enough people to do it. This session is a two-hour demonstration of what AI actually moves in that equation: doing more with the people you already have.
Speakers
  • Leon Calverley

The Marketing Multiplier AI Lab is a two-hour hands-on session for senior marketers who already understand the fundamentals and want to see what AI looks like in practice for their team.

We skip the basics and go straight to application. We leave the crystal ball stuff to everyone else – the predictions, the hype, the “AI is going to change everything” decks you’ve already sat through. You’re here to see what it actually does.

The centrepiece is a live brand build, chosen by the audience on the day. With audience participation to steer direction, we build something real, from scratch, in front of you. Positioning, competitive landscape, content, and a working web presence. Live, fast, and good enough to hold up to scrutiny.

Thanks Leon and team. As ever, you've nailed it with another insightful and charismatic presentation. Really useful and actionable AI information.

What’s included:

  • Live model comparisons: see how different AI approaches handle the same brief, and what the difference in output actually looks like
  • Competitive landscape analysis: how AI reads a market, finds the gaps, and works out what competitors are and aren’t doing
  • Content strategy and execution: from brief to calendar to working copy, built in the room
  • Web presence: a live page, built from prompts – no developer, no delay
  • Reporting and analytics: from objective to output, showing what AI removes from a process that usually takes hours

Every demo follows the same logic: this is AI doing real marketing work, not a theoretical framework about where the industry is heading.

The brand we end up with isn’t the point. What you’re here to see is how AI shows up at each stage — what it contributes, how it handles the brief, and what good actually looks like when it’s doing real work. The useful question isn’t “could I use this?” It’s “where does this change what’s possible for my team?” That answer looks different for everyone. Two hours gives you enough to start working it out.

Built for: logistics, professional services, home & garden, and similar businesses where the output demands on marketing consistently outrun what the team can deliver. Same headcount. More possible.

Come and see what’s achievable, and decide what to do with it as soon as next week.

Do I need to understand technology or AI to attend?
This session assumes you understand marketing fundamentals and jumps straight to practical application. Some familiarity with AI is helpful; if you have used ChatGPT for work, you are well placed. We do not cover the basics.

What about creative and image gen?
We are not here to talk about generating social media posts, writing ad headlines, or AI imagery at this specific session. The focus is further up the stack: reasoning models, workflows, and API-level capability. How AI handles multi-step tasks. Where automation connects your tools. What changes when you move from a chat prompt to a process.

How long does the session last?
The session runs for 2 hours. You’re very welcome to stick around and chat with our team afterwards.

Can I bring a guest?
This event is most suited to management and leadership roles. We ask that everyone who is attending register on Eventbrite, and we limit attendance to two people per company.

It was really helpful to crystalise my understanding of AI. The talk was well pitched - not too complex nor overly simplistic. The delivery of the presentation was excellent, highly engaging. I really did enjoy it and it was very thought provoking, which is what I was hoping for.
