Mug shot – Liam Driver, Performance Marketing Executive

The Door4 Mug shot interviews – as much as you can find out about us in the time it takes to drink a brew.

Name: Liam Driver
Role:  Performance Marketing Executive
Started at Door4: 30th November 2021

Happy (almost) 2 years!

Want a brew? How do you take it?
I’ll take some cold tap water

What do you do at Door4?
My official title is ‘Performance Marketing Executive’ (whatever that means), but I mostly look after Paid Media and anything data-related.

How do you see your role at Door4 developing in the future?
More responsibility with anything data related, I love both analytics and the process of setting up and maintaining data streams.

What’s the best thing about working at Door4?
The openness towards employees when it comes to letting them pursue the skills that they want, it doesn’t feel like you are constrained to doing one role, letting people find something they can both enjoy and improve at.

Complete this sentence: ‘In another life. I’d have been a …’
I enjoy problem-solving and programming really scratches that itch for me, so probably a developer

That’s the job everyone usually says they’d be most scared of doing! No plan to hop over to the Dev-Side then?
There’s definitely a lot of crossover between the work I do with data and programming and the skills are transferable so it’s always there in the back of my mind if I’m looking for something new to pursue.

What would the title of your autobiography be?
Tomorrow’s Triumph: A Tale of Procrastination

If you were given tomorrow off work, what would you do for the day?
I’d lie in until the afternoon, go to the cinema and watch a film, then spend the evening gaming with my friends.

Oh, nice! What’s been the best film you’ve seen recently?
Killers of the Flower Moon

Name one thing you’re not very good at outside of the office and one thing you ARE very good at?
Despite my name, I’m really bad at driving and hate getting behind the wheel.
I’m good at waiting, I’m very patient.

If you were a famous boxer, what would be your boxing ring walk song?
Face to Face – Daft Punk

At Door4, whose job would you be most scared of doing – why?
Anyone in Client Services, I wouldn’t be able to handle maintaining so many relationships while working under so much pressure, their side of the business definitely doesn’t get as much praise as it should

Tell us a (clean!) joke.
Two fish in a tank, one looks at the other and says, “how do you drive this thing?”

Thanks, Liam!
