How the LLM Visibility Report works
We use a structured set of queries:
- First, we generate prompts that real users might ask—covering everything from broad, short-tail searches to detailed, long-tail questions.
- Next, we check what the LLMs actually see for your brand, using these prompts.
- We run the prompts through ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude to simulate how a typical user would interact with these AIs.
We gather the results, analyse your brand’s presence, and produce a straightforward report.

- A clear visibility score: The most visible brand in your set scores 1.0. All others are compared to this baseline.
- Brand-by-brand breakdown: See where you stand, where you’re strong, and where you’re missing out.

How the co-efficient score works
We rank all brands in your competitive set. The brand that appears most often and most prominently in LLM answers gets a score of 1.0. Every other brand’s score is a proportion of this—so you see exactly how visible you are compared to the leader (in this prompt set, on this day).
What this means for you
You get a simple, apples-to-apples comparison. If you’re at 0.8, you’re close to the top. If you’re at 0.3, you’re being outperformed. This makes it easy to spot gaps and opportunities.
Limitations: What this report can—and can’t—tell you
LLMs are complex, ever-changing, and unpredictable. Our report gives you a directional snapshot, not a definitive answer. Here’s what to keep in mind:
- LLMs update their knowledge and behaviour regularly. Your results may change over time—even day to day.
- No prompt set can fully emulate how millions of real users interact with AI. We use realistic, high-intent prompts, but there’s always some guesswork.
- Different LLMs have different strengths, biases, and blind spots. Visibility in one doesn’t guarantee visibility in another.
- This is a practical guide, not a technical audit. It’s designed to help you take action, not drown you in data.
- A user’s LLM usually has sophisticated, wide-ranging context on that user. No report, audit or evaluation can meaningfully emulate that.

Our report is a snapshot, not a guarantee. LLMs are unpredictable—results can change by the day, the prompt, or the platform. If you’re seeing better results in your own testing, that’s great. Our approach is structured and repeatable, but it can’t capture every possible scenario.
Is this the same as the Semrush LLM tool?
No. Our LLM Visibility Report is designed and delivered by Door4. We use our own prompt sets, methodology, and scoring system. Whilst we use Semrush (with other tools) in the agency, this service is not affiliated with Semrush or any other third-party tool.
I’m ranking well—is that good?
