  3. Art of the Possible – AI and Innovation for Marketing Leaders
The Art of the Possible

An AI and automation session for marketing leaders

One 3-hour session. Your marketing workflows, mapped. Your biggest time drains, turned into buildable projects — with a prioritised plan you can act on the next morning.

We’ll find where AI and automation give your marketing team its time back: reporting that assembles itself, campaigns that scale without extra headcount, and content that stays on-brand without you proofing every line.

£995 + VAT. If the session doesn’t uncover at least £5,000 of future value, you don’t pay.

You already know AI matters. That’s not the problem.

You have read the articles. Someone on your team may already use ChatGPT for first drafts. The challenge is turning that potential into workflows that run in your marketing operation, save hours every week and create better commercial outcomes.

The Art of the Possible is not an AI awareness seminar. It is a structured working session where we map your reporting, campaign production, content, lead handling and lifecycle activity; identify where effort disappears; and design specific tools to win it back.

You leave with scoped, prioritised project concepts based on your systems, data and team.

Who this is for

The session is built for marketing directors, marketing managers and ecommerce leads in UK businesses — typically £5m+ turnover or 30+ staff, where the website and marketing function do real commercial work.

You do not need to be technical, and you do not need to understand AI. You need to know how your marketing operation works and where it frustrates you. We translate everything into plain business terms.

Bring colleagues. The best sessions include the people who run the workflows: your marketing executive who builds the reports, your ecommerce manager, and sometimes a sales or operations colleague whose data marketing depends on. Sessions run at our Burnley HQ or at your offices.

Where does your team’s week actually go?
Every marketing team loses time in familiar places. See whether any of these sound familiar.
  • The reporting day

Pulling GA4, email, paid-media and sales figures into one document by hand. By the time it is shared, the picture can already be stale.

  • The campaign bottleneck

You know what works, but scaling across audiences, products and seasonal moments means more assets, copy variants, scheduling and reporting than the team has time for.

  • The proofing burden

Every agency draft, AI output or junior-team asset crosses a senior desk before it ships because brand and tone knowledge live in someone’s head, not a system.

  • The lead leak

Enquiries arrive unqualified, follow-up is inconsistent, and market or competitor monitoring happens only when someone finds a spare hour.

The Art of the Possible workshop with Door4 was one of the most engaging and informative sessions I’ve attended. Their expertise, especially Leon’s infectious enthusiasm and understanding of our realistic needs, helped us see how their innovation can drastically enhance our business efficiency and visibility. It’s given us a clear path forward.

Reporting and insight
These reporting tools came out of live work with marketing teams, turning disconnected data into useful, current decisions.
  • Automated marketing performance reports

For a digital services team, we mapped a workflow that pulls GA4, Semrush and Search Console data through APIs, checks it against objectives, generates charts and delivers scheduled reports — without manual assembly.

  • A unified sales and marketing dashboard

A live session with a renewable energy business led to a joined-up view of CRM, finance and channel data, replacing days of senior monthly consolidation.

  • A website intelligence assistant

Working with a medical-equipment team, we shaped a weekly agent that reads GA4, reports meaningful trends and flags negative movement early.

Campaign production at scale
These workflows were shaped alongside marketing teams to systematise repeatable work while keeping people in control of approval and quality.
  • A campaign scaling engine

With a POS manufacturer, we turned a proven campaign approach into a workflow for audience selection, asset briefing, copy and reporting across 50 sectors — with people approving rather than producing every campaign.

  • An event content assistant

A membership team helped us shape a tool that turns event details into review-ready posts in multiple formats and tones, before and after each event.

  • Purchase propensity modelling

Created with a marketing team, this combines purchase history, sector, buying latency and seasonality so campaigns land when the data says they should.

Content creation and brand control
Marketing teams helped shape these tools to create more on-brand work without routing every asset through a senior reviewer.
  • A marketing collateral builder

For a heritage brewery, we built around approved product and brand material to produce consistent social posts, trade emails and seasonal campaigns.

  • A content QC agent

Developed with marketing teams, this scores drafts against brand and tone guidelines, then returns a marked-up rewrite before content reaches a customer.

  • A product content pre-check

A furniture retailer’s marketing team shaped this process to validate supplier specifications, chase corrections and draft website-ready copy in house style.

  • Case study automation

This is a Door4 workflow we use ourselves: structured delivery-team questions, AI grading and automatic assembly cut case-study production from 20 hours to two.

Thank you for the session — it really was excellent. You did a fantastic job guiding the discussion and presenting challenges that made it both engaging and productive. The two MVP concepts were spot-on and have given us a lot to consider.

Lead generation and qualification
These workflows put experienced people’s time where it has the greatest commercial value.
  • Prospecting at scale

Built for our own marketing operation, this workflow finds and scores ideal prospect websites, taking weekly prospect identification from 50 to 2,000.

  • A lead qualification and routing assistant

For a commercial property team, we mapped an intake process that asks the right questions, scores credibility, routes serious prospects and filters the rest.

  • A lost-deal visualiser

Shaped with a manufacturer’s marketing team, this tags lost quotes automatically, surfaces useful patterns and feeds reactivation campaigns.

Customer data and lifecycle marketing
These examples show marketing teams using existing customer information in more timely, relevant ways.
  • A customer lifecycle engine

Working with a marketing team, we joined order history, product lifecycle and warranty data to trigger messages at moments that matter.

  • A membership insight engine

A trade organisation’s marketing team brought this together: consolidated engagement data, earlier renewal-risk signals and credible recruitment proof points.

  • A sales enablement assistant

For a brewery’s team, we created automatic pre-call briefings from order history, buying patterns and missed reorders.

Market and competitor intelligence
These agents make monitoring systematic rather than something reserved for a spare afternoon.
  • A market research agent

For a bathroom furniture brand, we shaped an agent that scans trade press, competitors and trend sources continuously, then delivers a concise digest.

  • A review response agent

Marketing teams have used this approach to read reviews daily, draft context-aware on-brand replies and queue them for one-click approval.

  • A tender discovery agent

For a construction and maintenance contractor, we built an agent that scans the internet for tenders matching their criteria, then delivers a weekly report scored for match fit.

The session with Door4 was incredibly thought-provoking. It helped us see the potential of our existing data to enhance sales calls and decision-making. The focus on prioritising efforts provided a clear pathway for moving forward.

Your marketing team is too capable to spend its week on copy-paste

Three hours.
A room full of the people who know your marketing best. A structured process that has produced buildable, prioritised projects in every session we have run.
£995 + VAT. £5,000 of value, or you don’t pay.

What happens in the 3 hours

The session is structured, fast-moving and built around your business — not a slide deck.

  1. Commercial priorities first. We start with revenue, leads, retention and brand goals, so every idea is tested against what matters commercially.
  2. Proven examples, live. See working reporting agents, content QC, prospecting workflows and campaign automation — not screenshots.
  3. Map your workflows and systems. Identify where time goes, what your systems hold and where manual joins create friction.
  4. Design the projects. Sketch the tools that remove the mapped effort, including users, data inputs and a first working version.
  5. Score for feasibility and return. Assess complexity, integration effort and commercial impact — and distinguish AI from simpler software solutions.
  6. Your prioritised roadmap. Leave with a recommended sequence; within days, receive a written outcomes report ready for your board.

What you walk away with

A prioritised shortlist of marketing automation projects, specific to your systems and team. A written outcomes report you can circulate internally. A clear-eyed view of what needs AI, what needs good software, and what needs neither.

You will have the confidence to lead the AI conversation in your business rather than being led by it.

There is no obligation beyond the session. Some businesses build with us afterwards; some build in-house; some take the report and reflect. All three are fine outcomes — the report is yours either way.

Frequently asked questions

How much does it cost?

£995 + VAT for one 3-hour session, including the written outcomes report.

How does the guarantee work?

If you do not feel the session uncovered £5,000 of potential future savings or value, we credit the invoice — no quibble, no questions. We ask you 48 hours after the session, and you define what counts as value.  It’s entirely up to you.

Who should attend?

Marketing directors, marketing managers and ecommerce leads — plus colleagues who run the workflows you want to fix. Groups of two to six work best. Attendees should have the authority, or the ear of those with it, to act on what is found.  At least one attendee must be a company director, or senior marketing manager.

We don’t really understand AI — is this for us?

Yes, especially. The session is not about learning technology. It is about your marketing workflows and where effort disappears. You bring knowledge of your business; we bring knowledge of what is buildable.

Our team already uses ChatGPT — will we learn anything?

Almost certainly. Individual AI use is where most teams are. The gap is turning that into workflows that run on schedule, connect to your data and work without someone prompting them.

Is this a sales pitch for a big project?

No. The session is standalone, with zero ongoing obligation. You can build with us, build in-house or take the roadmap away. The report is designed to be useful either way.  We’re not an “AI company” – we help businesses to implement progressive technology in their organisations.

Do we need our IT team there?

Not for the session. It helps to know roughly what systems you run — CRM, analytics, email platform and ecommerce — but we map technical detail in plain terms.

Is the workshop open to everyone?

We typically work with businesses turning over £3m+ or employing 30+ staff — the scale where automation delivers measurable value. B2B and B2C both fit.

Where does it happen?

Our Burnley HQ, or your offices if you have a suitable meeting room and screen.

I have a large team — can we run multiple sessions?

Yes. Most businesses begin with one session focused on sales/marketing, then extend the approach to other departments once it has proven itself.
