Ask The Expert – Should I care about voice search in 2023?
Should I care about voice search in 2023? it’s a bit of an age-old question… which I’ve probably been answering since around about 2016.
Generally, I would say no, mainly because the transactional value is relatively low, though for SEO purposes it does give you site authority. It’s very similar in the way it works with blogs. You’ve got to remember that people do click through eventually, and that might actually lead to an eventual transaction, it’s very much top of funnel, and while it might not be the biggest value to your business it will eventually bring people back in.
Something else to remember it’s generally got a higher adoption in younger audiences but this is also ever-changing so consider your audience if you do want to invest in voice search in 2023.
