Performance Round-Up – January 2024

We’ve had a lot of great news to share with our clients in their monthly meetings over the last few weeks, so grab a brew and enjoy our latest highlights reel.

Outperforming targets by 75%

Our national family sector client has had a great month across all services, with Paid Social results exceeding the enquiry target by 75% despite only a 40% uplift in spend. Looking year on year at this account we can also see the real impact of our long-term planning, with costs down 66%. The changes to website-based landing pages, in conjunction with not pushing spend past the ceiling, have allowed us to cultivate high-quality social traffic with our new and improved creative

Alongside these brilliant paid social results, organic search results have soared over the last year thanks to a robust strategy from our SEO and Content teams. We’ve seen almost a 40% increase in clicks to all pages, a 53% increase in impressions, and overall Rankings have improved by 2.4 positions year on year. 

Finally, we have results for several CRO tests that have recently been completed with positive results all around. Our Conversion Rate Optimisation team tested the hierarchy of components on a key landing page, intending to increase lead conversion rate and reduce page abandonment. We saw conversion rate uplifts ranging from 69% to 19%. A success all round!

Strong paid search results

Conversion rates are up year on year for our newest professional services client. January saw a 29% increase in conversions through paid search compared to December, and we can see that year-on-year has also seen an increase following an intense plan of action and account restructuring from the paid media team in recent months.

A smashing 350% increase

One of our international home and garden clients saw a fantastic start to the year with a huge surge in conversions. Our paid media team can take all the credit for this one, with their multi-territory strategy that has had great results. They completely rebuilt the social campaigns at the start of the year to focus on generating conversions (using the same creative), and have far exceeded the targets set by the client.

Organic traffic drives revenue growth

Our national automotive client has had a strong start to 2024 with SEO playing a key role in driving revenue growth – contributing to 13% of sales. Organic sessions continue to gain momentum month on month with sessions up 151% & revenue up 113% so far in 2024! This has been achieved with our content team diligently expanding long and short-form content on the site, plus a whole array of technical SEO work for continuous ongoing improvement.
