The Challenge

InstaGroup relies on efficiently passing leads from commercial partners to a national network of installers. But their process was bogged down by manual oversight, siloed spreadsheets, and fragmented communication via email and phone. The Approach

Door4 replaced the fragmented status quo with a digital installer portal, designed to centralise lead handling, automate workflows, and improve speed to action. Our planning phase involved close collaboration with InstaGroup’s commercial team, wireframing functional requirements to meet real-world needs. The brief was clear: reduce admin burden, increase visibility, and improve trust across all touchpoints. Personalisation features such as staff imagery helped humanise the interface, while behind the scenes, strategic decisions—like implementing GraphQL and a Docker-based architecture—ensured long-term scalability and flexibility.

The Execution

Delivery focused on building a secure, branded, user-friendly portal that guides installers through the lead process from start to finish. Key UX features included intuitive filtering, clear status indicators, and built-in automation for chasing, revoking, or updating stale leads. Security and data integrity were baked in from the start. Working in agile phases, Door4 supported InstaGroup through planning, design, build, and refinement, ensuring the solution evolved in line with business feedback and readiness for future ecommerce capability.
