Ask The Expert – How do I know which CRO tests will have the greatest impact?
We start with research! so… gathering data through analysis; this is heuristics, quantitative and qualitative.
The next step is prioritization, where we use a framework to score problem statements and hypothesis based on several key factors like the traffic levels, and then if it’s above or below the fold. This then develops a score where we identify opportunities for testing that will create maximum impact which then feeds into our six-month plan.
We have a family sector client that through research we found traffic and search queries around financial support and information around that. By testing in this area across the site, we saw a 24% improvement in conversion rate.
