DECODING DIGITAL Be a Decoding Digital Speaker

Grow your personal brand, and reach hundreds of marketers and professionals through our regular live events and webinars.

Be a part of Decoding Digital

We are always looking for inspirational, insightful marketing professionals, with a story to tell about business, marketing and performance.

Our audience comprises hundreds of marketers, business owners and consultants – all with a passion for digital marketing and revenue optimisation.

In-person events

Our preferred format has always been the in-person event.  We have run events from 6 to 120 people in a variety of North-West locations across Lancashire, Yorkshire and Manchester.

The speaker format is usually 20-30 minutes, with AV/deck.

Webinar events

In 2020, we shifted our live events to the Zoom webinar format.  This provided us greater reach and allowed us to involve more national speakers.

The speaker format is either 15-25 minute “speaker and deck” or a “fireside chat” with one of our interviewers.

The deck format  tends to suit technologists and marketers who work for platforms or agencies – whilst the fireside format fits brand owners or consultants who don’t necessarily have pre-prepared materials.

What do I need to do?

Our primary guest format for in-person and webinar formats is a 20-30 minute (approx) presentation.

In simple terms – a walkthrough, with slides, of a topic that is of interest to the marketing and technology community.

The presentation should NOT be a product pitch, but of course, it can relate to your business or service.

We also offer a less formal Q&A/interview format, if you prefer not to present, but answer questions “live” with the Decoding Digital host.

In both cases, we provide a Q&A session at the end – with guests invited to submit questions in chat.

The only real preparation is a deck or questions/conversation format, which we can agree in advance.

What do we need?

From our speakers, we request the following:

  • Your presentation title (5-10 words, ideally)
  • A brief description of your presentation (30-50 words) – what will you be covering?  what will the audience get from the presentation?
  • A brief speaker bio (30-50 words) – what is your background?  what other good stuff do you do?  (we can help write this, if you are too modest.)
  • A high quality headshot photo (JPG or PNG) – ideally 1000px minimum
  • A copy of your business/brand logo if appropriate
