When we first met with the key stakeholders of the La Manga Club Resort business they had a bold ambition – to become the biggest online operator to La Manga Club, the renowned 5 star resort on Spain’s southern coast.
Roughly the size of Monte Carlo, La Manga Club is an internationally acclaimed resort, with 3 top class golf courses within its bounds.
In short we were about to embark on a journey (quite literally) in an effort to truly understand the resort, and on the back of this develop the brand, online/offline communications as well as a fully integrated eCommerce website.

When tackling this project we worked from the ground upwards, developing the core brand message, working up campaign strategies and planning the techincalities of the booking system. This project borrowed time from each of our studio team, from copywriters to designers – project managers to marketing consultants – we had to cover every base.
January through to October is critical in this sector, this graph shows how we built traffic to the website in year one, and then sustained this interest in year two.
The main technical challenge with this project was to integrate the website with the resort PMS and Worldpay payment gateway. Working closely with the IT team on resort we were able to architect and deliver a live booking system that provides up to the minute availability, allowing La Manga Club Resort to compete with technology heavyweights in the sector.
