In the beginning
Having worked with Display Wizard, since 2010, we were called upon to re-design the interface for their Magento e-commerce platform.
We were involved in the original design project, back in 2011, and this time around there was more at stake. The new interface needed to reflect their evolving brand, provide access to a growing product range, and – of course – work across all devices.
We got to work.
The project team included Display Wizard’s own tried and tested Magento developers. We’re always pleased to fit into existing project teams, and this was no different. A blueprint and complete stylepack was required, and this was our mission.
We worked with our client to develop a complete set of requirements, across all of the website components. This included homepage wayfinding, navigation, information architecture, product detailing, search and of course the transaction process.
Getting to the right product, quickly, is of paramount importance on a transactional website.
Exhibition and display is a crowded market, but Display Wizard are one of the genuine pioneers, bringing the product to the buyer online. This has been the story of their success.
Developing clear, understandable navigation structures was incredibly important.
Working with the Display Wizard marketing team, we developed a whole suite of merchandising creative, including banners, header features and in-flow assets.
Naturally, every token, user interface element and error message was taken care of. A focused e-commerce retailer needs an eye for detail – and this is where Door4 excel.
The website is live, and trading successfully – generating uplift for this already successful e-commerce business.
