We’ve been nominated for the Small Business of the Year award at the Burnley Business Awards 2017 – and tonight’s the night we find out who the winner is!
The event is held at Burnley’s Towneley Hall tonight (Thursday 29th June) and is said to be an evening of:
“pride, celebration, glitz and glamour that acknowledges and rewards the achievements of our local businesses and individuals (with a few surprises on the night too!).”
(Surprises? We’re intrigued!)
About the Awards:
The event is sponsorship funded and has been organised by Burnley Council and the Burnley Brand Scheme. Its goal is to promote Burnley’s business success and the borough’s economic infrastructure.
Pam Smith, Burnley Council’s Chief Executive, said:
“As a town we aim to be the best in the North West for economic growth, investing in huge strategic economic projects, and working side by side with the private sector to ensure more of the right people know about Burnley’s success; that Burnley is investment ready and open for business.”

Lots of local businesses are nominated for awards, so competition is tough, but we’ve got our fingers crossed.
Good luck to all our fellow nominees and local businesses – it looks set to be a great evening!
